The championship
For eight days in October 2016 Wetzlar (close to Frankfurt, Germany) will be the centre of all Ballet, Jazz and Modern dancers: Starting October 23 th, dancers from around the world will dance to determine who's the "best of the best" at IDO World Ballett, Jazz and Modern Championships 2016!On October 23rd, the first medals will be awarded in all Ballet categories. On the morning of October 24th the world championship competitions of jazz and modern will commence (till October 30th).
There are four different age classes:
• children (up to 11 years)
•juniors (up to 15 years)
• adults
• adults 2
In each age class will be held four/five categories:
• solo
• duo
• small groups
• formations
The solo competitions are separated by sexes: male and female.
