Wetzlar is located in the heart of Germany, hardly one hour drive from Frankfurt Airport. For our guests and dancers from all over the world, Wetzlar may easily be reached by different means of transportation. Nations, participating in our World Champs with a large team, might require a shuttle service from Frankfurt Airport to their hotel and back.
We recommend two different companies, having the required capacities to facilitate transportation to large teams and with large pieces of luggage. We ask those teams to contact the companies directly, using the email addresses indicated:

Getting Around in Wetzlar – Citybus Wetzlar
During the period of our Worlds, all dancers are intitled to use Citybus Wetzlar free of charge at any time. Citybus Wetzlar allows comfortable commuting between Wetzlar city centre, the venue and your hotel in Wetzlar.
Citybus departs all 30 minutes:
Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm
Saturday from 10am to 3pm
(Last departure at 6:40pm or 2:40pm respectively)
Please be aware: Citybus has a capacity of appr. 30 seats, meaning it is not suitable for the transport of large groups of people at the same time.

Wetzlar by foot – Sightseeing included
The city of Wetzlar including Rittal Arena may easily be explored by foot. The pedestrial area starts right across the main station, located close to Rittal Arena.

Travel to Wetzlar by public transport (Bus/Rail)
Situated at Wetzlar Train Station (beside Wetzlar Forum - a shopping mall), Rittal Arena is directly linked with cities like Frankfurt, Giessen, Kassel and Limburg. Detailled information can be found at Deutschen Bahn.
Stadthallen Wetzlar is located in the upper Old Town. You find a car park and bus stops in close distance. Access by public transportation system rmv.de

A 45 Dortmund - Hanau
Exits Wetzlar-Nord / Wetzlar-Ost / Wetzlar-Süd

A 5 Kassel – Frankfurt (via Reiskirchener Dreieck)

Parking in Wetzlar/at the venues
Stadthalle Wetzlar (competitions on October 23 and 24) has an own car park.
In direct neighbourhood of Rittal Arena (competitions as of October 25) you may find the shopping mall "Forum Wetzlar" – their parking facilities may be used by our visitors as well.
